How They Met
“Pavitra and Rachna met through a dear common friend. Though they hit it off immediately they had a rough three years trying to figure out their feelings for each other. What She was sure about though was that he was always her favourite travel companion. They travelled a lot as friends and everything seemed so much better in each other’s company. When they finally began dating, they spent a year in a long-distance relationship while he completed his Master’s in London.”
Wedding Function :
Mehndi
At her mehndi, Rachna wore a stylish yellow saree by none other than Sandeep Khosla. Creating a perfect balance with its glorious mirror-work embellishments, Rachna kept her jewellery minimalistic – a statement maang tikka from Geet Jewels and subtle makeup that accentuated her features.
Haldi
They had a small mehndi function at their Hotel in Alibaug. She really wanted to do something colourful and traditional for her haldi ceremony, so She decided on bright but simple yellow saree. They had arranged for quirky food trucks. She was looking very beautiful in that floral jewellery.
Wedding
She’s a Punjabi bride and had dreamed of wearing a beautiful Sabyasachi creation on her big day so she couldn’t resist a luscious pink lehenga with flower zardosi embroidery. Her look for the day was highlighted with beautiful pink flowers, pink lips, all nods to their wonderful traditions.
After Party
“The wedding functions began with the sangeet that had a sexy theme with lots of fairy lights and bulbs. The dazzling mood of the night was perfect for the bright red-silver saree she wore from Millennial Mode Label. The luxurious fabric perfectly enhanced the solid colour of the outfit and it was embellished with incredible gold detailing. It was a total head turner and she wore jewellery from Amrapali with her hair left loose for the party.”
Reception
“Their wedding festivities ended with the reception and She wanted to create a mesmerising look for the evening. So she wore an elegant red dress that had won her heart. The outfit showcased no heavy work and worked beautifully with her necklace.”
