About The Wedding
Being a very hands-on bride, Arzoo was super well-planned: not only were her outfits done almost 6 months in advance, but she had also planned her looks for the three key functions – the Cocktail, the Sangeet and the Wedding to the finest detail. Her shopping was done across the country- Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. And her tasteful and classy jewelry was carefully put together over a period of time.
Cocktail
This was a cocktail cum a get-together sort of event for which she wanted something that would make a statement so she opted for a peachy- golden gown by Roli Maheshwari Cocktail & Couture. The fabric was embellished with sparkling sequins and beads, and it even had a trail. This outfit was dramatic, yet delicate and reminded me of a modern-day Cinderella story! Smokey eyes with nude lips and a distinctive natural glow was my beauty look for this event. Classic and sexy, the look was perfect for a cocktail night!”
Mehndi / Pool Party
This was a casual fun event during the day everyone was sipping cocktails in their swimwear and getting their mehndi put on their hands and feet. She chose a blue georgette and silk lehenga with a dupatta, this was designed by Pia Gehani.
Sangeet
“For the sangeet, She went for Ankita Dongre. She was confused between the outfit that she chose and another one in navy blue. However, Ankita helped her pick a style that would meet her taste and requirement. She has always loved her pieces and was thrilled to wear a white silk dress from his collection. A pair of comfortable Needledust just matched perfectly with her ensemble and allowed her to dance her heart out.”
Haldi
“She wanted her look for haldi to be very simple since this was a small function. She wore one of her mother’s kurtis that was trimmed with a golden border. She wore a few pieces of floral jewellery and did her makeup for this ceremony.”
Wedding
“As this was the most important day of her life. She wanted to look super gorgeous. She had always dreamed of being a Sabyasachi bride, because his designs are so beautiful. She chose the rani red Sultanpur lehenga from their January 2019 collection and felt like a queen every minute She had it on. The outfit was paired with jewellery from Tanishq. The golden Maang Tikka pieces from their Padmavat collection enhanced the regal appeal of her look and it was just what she needed on her big day!”
